Nathan Mikolas

Nate Mikolas is currently a Professional Hitting Coach in the Miami Marlins organization. Prior to being a hitting coach, he did outfield, base running, and bunting for the Marlins.

In 2012, Nathan was selected by the New York Yankees in the 3rd round, 124th pick overall, out of Bradford High School and went on to play for 5 seasons in the minor leagues.

It’s always been a dream of his to open his own facility to help local players improve their skills. He and his wife Alanna opened the Lakefront Dugout in November of 2018. Nathan gives hitting, defense, and baserunning lessons when he is home for his offseason before returning back to Spring Training.

Kevin Mikolas has been around the game of baseball for over 30 years. He has great knowledge of the game and loves explaining the fundamentals to his baseball & softball students. Kevin has a knack for teaching hitting and makes learning fun for all of his students! His dedication, enthusiasm, and his knack for motivating his students makes him their biggest fan and keeps students coming back for years to come! Kevin will work with kids of all ages.

Matt is currently coaching at St. Joes High School. He works well with kids and specializes in both catching and hititng.

Matt is a 2010 graduate of Bradford High School where he helped the 2008 Red Devils win their first D1 state championship in over two decades. Following high school, Matt went on to play baseball at the University of North Dakota. Matt eventully transferred from the University of North Dakota and continued his baseball career at Carthage College. At Carthage College Matt earned All CCIW honors his senior year. While in college Matt also played for the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League and the Dupage Hounds of the Miwest Collegiate Baseball League.
