“THE CAPTAINS”
“The Captains” Baseball Program is thrilled to announce their 2nd annual try out for the 2023 Spring/Summer Baseball Season! This program will be lead/overseen by Miami Marlins Professional Baseball coach, Nate Mikolas. Nate played for the New York Yankees for 5 seasons and now coaches for the Miami Marlins Organization. For the last 5 years, Coach Nate has served the Marlins as a hitting coach, defensive coach, and a base running coach.
The mission of the Captains is to develop youth players and provide them with professional training. We will teach the fundamentals of the game while having fun doing so! There will be an emphasis on educating players of proper hitting mechanics/approaches, team fundamentals, proper fielding techniques, base-running, bunting, and overall knowledge of the game.

Monday, July 18th, 2022 5:30pm-7:30pm (AGES 10U, 11U,12U, & 13U)
Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 5:30pm-7:30pm (AGES 14U, 15U,16U, & 17U)
Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 10AM-12PM (AGES AGES 10U, 11U,12U, & 13U) | 1:00PM-3:00PM (AGES 14U, 15U,16U, & 17U)

- 8 Spring/Summer Tournaments

- Paid Head Coach and Their Travel Expenses
- Facility costs (Indoor and Outdoor) *Will start indoor practices in November and go through April. Indoor practices will consist of 2x per week
- 1x/week Winter Total Body Lifts
- Access to the Lakefront Dugout Facility Year-Round at no additional cost
- Uniforms – (2) Jersey, (1) T-shirt, (2) Hat, (1) Practice Shorts, (1) Backpack, (1) Belt, (1) Helmet, (1) Socks (2) Pants
